The National Library of Medicine (NLM) has launched a redesign of PubMed. PubMed is NLM’s database of articles in the medical and life sciences, with links to full text when accessed via the Library Web site. The new streamlined interface is designed for ease of use. A number of changes will be made to Advanced Search, My NCBI, and format display options, but search processing -the way PubMed processes a search – will not change. All functionality will remain.
Saved searches and links that were created in the current interface will be preserved in the new design. No changes will be necessary to URLs that you have saved (PubMed brochures, etc.).
