Since July 2009, SciFinder has been gradually phasing out its old platform by reducing the number of available seats, while simultaneously promoting the new web-only platform with 27 seats. Due to this gradual seat reduction, delays on the old platform are occurring more often with a lack of increased activity on the new web-only platform.
Effective July 5, 2010, only four (4) seats will be available on the old platform, as SciFinder continues transition to the web-only platform. Your Library would like to encourage any individuals who are still using the old platform to switch to the new web-only platform. As of September 1, 2010, access to SciFinder will only be available via the new web-only platform.
