Preserve UT Southwestern History: Donate to your Library Archives

The Library’s UT Southwestern Archives is looking for materials which document:

  • The history of UT Southwestern (from its origins in 1943)
  • The work and lives of notable members of the campus community

Examples of material wanted:

  • Photographs of the campus buildings, people and events
  • Publications of the campus (including student yearbooks)
  • Professional papers of notable faculty and administrators
  • Physical objects that represent campus history
  • Publications about UT Southwestern

Advantages of donating material:

  • Materials are preserved in a safe, controlled environment
  • Archivist will organize materials
  • Users receive assistance from Library staff

Preview the New OvidSP Interface and Enhancements!

Ovid recently created a new interface with added features and enhancements to the OvidSP databases. Access to both versions of OvidSP will be available until June 30, 2010, when only the new version will remain. Click on the “Try it now!” button at the top of the current OvidSP screen to preview these new features:
New Work Productivity Tools
New search filters, a “widget” approach to results management, and numerous new citation management options, and more.
My Workspace
Create work projects and organize all of your research materials-individual articles, search strategies, images, and more-into a dedicated area.
Ovid Toolbar
This downloadable tool lets you quickly and easily save critical research material to My Workspace while you’re working outside OvidSP.
Additional Interface Display Enhancements
A new main search page design for more effective search and browse navigation, “drag-and-drop” customization features, consolidation of features and pages, and more.

    Provides authoritative, high quality consumer health information. Available in English and Spanish from the National Library of Medicine and the National Institutes of Health.

    Provides information on drug interactions, drug identification, and calculators.
  • PsychiatryOnline Mobile
    Provides access to selected content (e.g., DSM-IV-TR, IDC-9-CM codes, differential diagnosis decision trees, etc.) for wireless-enabled mobile devices.
