New year, new address: ACC.org to replace CardioSource.org

accEffective January 1, 2015, the American College of Cardiology’s (ACC) new website (ACC.org) will replace the existing site (CardioSource.org). Current UT Southwestern users with personal accounts need to know the following:

  • All users will be required to log in the first time they visit the new ACC.org.
  • Your current CardioSource.org username and password will remain the same.
  • If you use the “Remember Me” function on CardioSource.org and do not enter your username and password each time you log in, we recommend that you verify your password by following these instructions.

The new ACC.org will offer many exciting features, including more intuitive search capabilities, improved navigation, and front page access to the Journal of the American College of Cardiology and guidelines.

Digital Library acquires new Wiley Nursing ebook Collection

WileyNursingPromo-bannerUT Southwestern Health Sciences Digital Library and Learning Center now has online access to the Wiley Nursing ebooks collection.  This collection of online books was purchased through our consortial partnership with the University of Texas System using Academic Library Collection Enhancement Program (ALCEP) funds allocated by the UT System Board of Regents for one-time collection purchases.

The collection, now discoverable in the recently updated Library Catalog, provides easy one-click online access from the “Click here for online access via Wiley” link in the record. The new catalog record format also provides subject headings and a book cover image (when available).

To access the collection directly from the Library Catalog, go to the “Lists” drop-down menu on the top left and select “Wiley Nursing Ebooks Collection”.
